Just an idle thought...if you pre-ordered a watch throught the US website (before the European one was up and running) and have had an email confirmation of price in $,is
(a) the watch still to be paid in $ and shipped from the US
(b) paid in $ and shipped from Europe
(c) paid in Euros and shipped from Europe??

Just wondered as it could make a reasonable difference in price depending on how the £ is performing against both currencies, even taking into account potential customs charges.

If you reserved it with us you pay us in USD and we ship direct to you from USA. If you reserved with Europe distribution, you will pay them in Euro and it will ship from them in Europe.

Hey village,

I've done the maths too and emailed the euro based site as I was thinking the same as you!

There wasn't to much difference between the purchasing the M17 from Europe or the USA but there was a drastic difference in the M12 making it a lot cheaper to buy through the European broker!

I'm not to sure of the custom duty on the purchases from the USA. I know your meant to pay the 15% on any purchases as I had to when buying mu Breitlins through an American AD as they were quite expensive but there are a couple of ways round that but all in all the European Agent for Lum-tec seems to be the way to go.

Cheers
