Post We Unbox The CX Swiss Military 20,000FT Watch
Great review on Hodinkee! Be sure to check this out and watch the video. http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/2009/12/18 ... ettin.html

I asked Mr. Frank Burgin recently, the owner of the brand recently. A question which I am guessing many have wondered about. The question was given the amount of material that is in the case, case back, and crystal in a 20'000 FEET model. How many standard sport type watches do you think you could make out of this same amount of material. He told me in his standard sport models. He reckons he could make 2 to 3 watches out of this same amount of material.

My guess is you could make even more if it were standard size traditional Swiss dress type watches that your were making.

Which means this is quite literally a heck of a lot of watch for the price. =) Especially with its warranty, high pressure testing, and COSC 7750 movement.

and, on a lighter note - the 20'000 FEET is most likely the cheapest diving watch going by Swiss Francs per meter of water resistance ;-)

Very exciting unboxing, although a true dive watch nerd would have at least turned the bezel, it's the first thing I do when I pick up a diver!
